Margo Guryan released one album "Take a Picture" in 1967, didn't tour, didn't sell many records and then became a music teacher, however her songs were recorded by more famous acts like Cass Elliot, Dizzy Gillespie and Glen Campbell among others. She has fans that include Cornelius (they re-released the album on their own label) and Beck. "Timothy Gone" originally didn't make the album, it's included as a bonus demo now.
I first heard of it when Brown Recluse (formerly Brown Recluse Sings!) replied in song, with their tune "Margo, Left In Bed" from their "Black Sunday" EP.
